Аннотация: A method has been proposed for identifying the noncrystalline structure of CdS nanoparticles in the direct space by interpreting an image obtained by high resolution transmission electron microscopy. The short and average long range orders and microstrains in the disordered close packed structure of the CdS nanoparticle have been visualized. It has been shown that the direct space image of the average lattice with the space group P6 appears due to the moiré effect in the noncrystalline structure
