Аннотация: Products of the hydrothermal alteration of rocks and vertical zonality at the Kanimansur silver-polymetallic deposit (Tadjikistan) have been studied. On the basis of these studies, physicocochemical conditions of metasomatism and ore formation were reviewed. Condensed carbonaceous matter in wall rock metasomatites and ores were found and carbon isotopic composition of this carbonaceous matter and composition of gases in open pores in rocks of the deposit were analyzed. As a result of geological observations, analysis of mineral parageneses, compositions of minerals, and chemistry of wall rock alteration, the following four stages of the hydrothermal process were distinguished: autometasomatic, propylitic, preore chlorite-sericite, and synore. Mineral geothermometers were used to estimate the temperatures of metasomatism, which varied within the range 200-250°C for all stages except for the autometasomatic stage (450-500°C). The formation of unhydrated light micas, quartz, and highly ferruginuous chlorites was related to acid preore metasomatism. The stability of these chlorites testifies to a slight increase in the acidity of solutions during the preore stage (pH not less than 3.5). The wall rock metasomatites and sulfide ores are characterized by a relatively rare occurrence of pyrite due to a low activity of the sulfide sulfur during hydrothermal alterations (logaS2 = -7...-10). The low activity of the sulfide sulfur is confirmed by the fact that iron is tied in a highly ferruginuous chlorite. At upper ore levels, even zinc is tied in chlorite. This testifies to a much greater aS2 /aO2 value. Judging by the participation of carbonaceous matter in the process, ore components were deposited due to a local increase in the alkalinity at the ore-forming stage and oxidation of reduced fluids. The established features of metasomatic transformations, are related to particulars of the regional magmatism.????

Аннотация: Acidification of the extracellular matrix, an intrinsic characteristic of many solid tumors, is widely exploited for physiologically triggered delivery of contrast agents, drugs, and nanoparticles to tumor. However, pH of tumor microenvironment shows intra- and inter-tumor variation. Herein, we investigate the impact of this variation on pH-triggered delivery of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) modified with pH-(low)-insertion peptide (pHLIP). Fluorescent flow cytometry, laser confocal scanning microscopy and transmission electron microscopy data proved that pHLIP-conjugated MNPs interacted with 4T1 cells in two-dimensional culture and in spheroids more effectively at pH 6.4 than at pH 7.2, and entered the cell via clathrin-independent endocytosis. The accumulation efficiency of pHLIP-conjugated MNPs in 4T1 tumors after their intravenous injection, monitored in vivo by magnetic resonance imaging, showed variation. Analysis of the tumor pH profiles recorded with implementation of original nanoprobe pH sensor, revealed obvious correlation between pH measured in the tumor with the amount of accumulated MNPs.

Аннотация: The carbene ligand is assembled on a cluster core of two dichloromethane and one morpholine at room temperature, which is the first example of carbene ligands formed in this way. Clusters with a carbene ligand exist as two stable isomers, as confirmed by NMR studies and conformational analysis. Possible mechanistic pathways for the formation of clusters with carbene and enamine ligands are proposed.

Аннотация: Copper(II) complexes with 1,1,1-trifluoro-4-(4-methoxyphenyl)butan-2,4-dione (HL1) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR spectroscopy, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The biological properties of HL1 and cis-[Cu(L1)2(DMSO)] (3) were examined against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and opportunistic unicellular fungi. The cytotoxicity was estimated towards the HeLa and Vero cell lines. Complex 3 demonstrated antibacterial activity towards S. aureus comparable to that of streptomycin, lower antifungal activity than the ligand HL1 and moderate cytotoxicity. The bioactivity was compared with the activity of compounds of similar structures. The effect of changing the position of the methoxy group at the aromatic ring in the ligand moiety of the complexes on their antimicrobial and cytotoxic activity was explored. We propose that complex 3 has lower bioavailability and reduced bioactivity than expected due to strong intermolecular contacts. In addition, molecular docking studies provided theoretical information on the interactions of tested compounds with ribonucleotide reductase subunit R2, as well as the chaperones Hsp70 and Hsp90, which are important biomolecular targets for antitumor and antimicrobial drug search and design. The obtained results revealed that the complexes displayed enhanced affinity over organic ligands. Taken together, the copper(II) complexes with the trifluoromethyl methoxyphenyl-substituted β-diketones could be considered as promising anticancer agents with antibacterial properties

Аннотация: A new type of ring-ring isomerism, which consists of the reversible transformation of cyclobutane derivatives into substituted 1,2-oxazine N-oxides was found and studied by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. Аннотация: Thiocarbamoyl chitosan (TCC) was synthesized by grafting thiourea on chitosan backbone in eutectic composition of ammonium thiocyanate—thiourea. Insoluble products with the amno group functionalization degree of 0.3–1.1 can be prepared by varying the conditions of polymer-analogous (synthesis in a gel) transformation. Structure of the synthesized chitosan derivatives was characterized by elemental analysis, diffuse reflectance infrared spectroscopy, and the solid state 13C NMR. Study of sorption properties of TCC shows high sorption capacity and selectivity for the ions of gold(III), platinum(IV), and palladium(II) as evidenced by results obtained at pH 2 in the presence of 100–1000-fold excess of iron(III), copper(II), zinc(II), and nickel(II). Sorption capacity of TCC for all ions increases with the increase in the degree of substitution and changes in the series: AuIII > PdII > PtIV

Аннотация: The degradation of hydroxy derivatives synthesized from individual di-, tri-, tetra-, and pentachlorinated biphenyls as typical representatives of commercial mixtures of polychlorinated biphenyls has been studied by means of synchronous thermal analysis. Exhaustive thermal degradation of the substrate, characterized by the absence of evaporation process and lower energy consumption as compared to thermolysis of technical mixtures of polychlorinated biphenyls as well as the mixtures of their methoxy and hydroxy derivatives, has been established.
