Аннотация: Selectively 15N-labeled tetrazolo[1,5-b][1,2,4]triazines and tetrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines bearing one, two, or three 15N labels were synthesized. The synthesized compounds were studied by 1H, 13C, and 15N NMR spectroscopy in DMSO and TFA solutions, where the azide–tetrazole equilibrium can lead to the formation of two tetrazole (T, T′) isomers and one azide (A) isomer for each compound. Incorporation of the 15N-label(s) leads to the appearance of 15N–15N coupling constants (JNN), which can be easily measured via simple 1D 15N NMR spectra, even at natural abundance between labeled and unlabeled 15N atoms. The chemical shifts for the 15N nuclei in the azole moiety are very sensitive to the ring opening and azide formation, thus providing information about the azido–tetrazole equilibrium. At the same time, the 1–2JNN couplings between 15N-labeled atoms in the azole and azine fragments unambiguously determine the fusion type between tetrazole and azine rings in the cyclic isomers T and T′. Thus, combined analysis of 15N chemical shifts and JNN values in selectively isotope-enriched compounds provides an effective diagnostic tool for direct structural determination of tetrazole isomers and azide form in solution. This method was found to be the most simple and efficient way to study the azido–tetrazole equilibrium.

Аннотация: High temperature coupling of 6-aryl-5-cyano-3-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazines with 2-amino-4-aryloxazoles proceeds as the inverse demand Diels–Alder reaction between the oxazole moiety as dienophile and the 1,2,4-triazine moiety as diene to construct new 4,5-diaryl-6-cyano-3-hydroxypyridin-2-yl fragment. A reaction mechanism is proposed, and the structure of the key-product is proved by the X-ray diffraction analysis.

Аннотация: 6-Polyfluoroalkyl-2-thiouracils react with formaldehyde and primary amines in EtOH (MeCN) at 2-mercapto and 3-amino groups to yield pyrimido[2,1-b][1,3,5] thiadiazines via the multicomponent double Mannich reaction. The structure of 3-benzyl-8-nonafluorobutyl-3,4-dihydro-2H,6H-pyrimido[2,1-b][1,3,5] thiadiazin-6-one was studied by the X-ray diffraction analysis. The use of ethylenediamine in these reactions yields 3,3′-ethane-1,2-diyl- bis(pyrimido[2,1-b]thiadiazinone) as a result of the bis-double Mannich cyclocondensation. 8-Polyfluoroalkyl-pyrimido[2,1-b]thiadiazines exhibit weak tuberculostatic activity

Аннотация: Highly electrophilic 5-azido-1-methyl-4-nitro-1H-imidazole and sulfonyl azides were demonstrated to react with alicyclic amines and cyclic ketones in the absence of any catalyst or additive to afford novel N-(4-nitroimidazol-5-yl)- or N-sulfonylamidines respectively. Based on single crystal X-ray analysis, a revision of the previously reported data of Gao and co-workers on the direction of the reaction of sulfonyl azides with endocyclic enamines was made. The reaction of 2,6-diazidopyridine with an enamine, 4-(cyclohex-1-en-l-yl)morpholine, proceeded with cyclization of the azide moiety onto the pyridine C=N bond to form an amidine bearing the tetrazolo[1,5-a]pyridine fragment.

Аннотация: Determination of oxyanions is of paramount importance because of the essential role they play in metabolic processes involved in various aquatic environmental problems. In this investigation, a novel chemical sensor array has been developed by using gold nanoparticles modified with different chain lengths of aminothiols (AET-AuNPs) as sensing elements. The proposed sensor array provides a fingerprint-like response pattern originating from cross-reactive binding events and capable of targeting various anions, including the herbicide glyphosate. In addition, chemometric techniques, linear discrimination analysis (LDA) and the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm were employed for analyte classification and regression/prediction. The obtained sensor array demonstrates a remarkable ability to determine multiple oxyanions in both qualitative and quantitative analysis. The described methodology could be used as a simple, sensitive and fast routine analysis for oxyanions in both laboratory and field settings.

Аннотация: The results of the clinical trial testing the efficacy of a new anti-influenza drug Triazavirin are presented in this work. The data of the trial were gathered during the 2010 influenza season. The treatment with oral Triazavirin significantly reduced the duration of the main clinical symptoms of influenza (intoxication, fever, respiratory symptoms), decreased the incidence of the influenza-related complications and the use of symptomatic drugs. The re-isolation rate of the influenza A and B viruses was significantly lower in the patients who were using Triazavirin. Аннотация: An electrochemical immunoassay method is developed for determining the strain of Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 with the use of electroactive nanocomposite particles based on magnetite Fe3O4 coated by SiO2 modified with ferrocene as a signal label. A sensitive, direct, and easily measured analytical response is obtained by cyclic voltammetry. The developed method enables the determination of bacterial cells at a minimum concentration of 2.3 x 10(3) CFU/mL. The analytical range is 2.3 x 10(3)-2.3 x 10(7) CFU/mL; the detection limit is 2.5 x 10(2) CFU/mL. The required sample volume is 0.5 mL, and the analysis time is 40 min.
