Аннотация: The interaction of (E)-1,1,1-trifluoro-4-phenyl-but-2-ene-4-one (1) with trimethyl phosphite affords in a [4 + 1] cycloaddition the 1,2?5-oxaphospholene 2 as a sole product which upon hydrolysis is transformed into the fluoroalkyl containing ?-ketophosphonate 4. When the reaction is carried out in the presence of small mounts of water, in addition to 2 as a main product, the phosphoric acid ester 6 of the enolic dimer of ketone 1 is also formed. The molecular structure of compound 6 (monoclinic P 2(1)/c with a = 2088.60(2), b = 1403.1(3), c = 1613.8(1) pm, ? = 90, ? = 100.97(1), ? = 90°, Z = 8) was determined, indicating two independent molecules with (RR) and (SS) configuration and disordered CF3 groups.????

Аннотация: Condensation of fluorinated 3-oxo esters or 1,3-diketones with benzaldehyde and (thio)urea results in the diastereoselective formation of 4-fluoroalkyl-4-hydroxy-2-oxo(thioxo)-6-phenyl-hexahydropyrimidine-5-carboxylates from which by dehydration under acidic conditions the corresponding 6-fluoroalkyl-2-oxo(thioxo)-4-phenyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carboxylates were obtained. Under the same conditions, hexafluoroacetylacetone furnishes 4,6-dihydroxy-4,6-di(trifluoromethyl)-hexahydropyrimidin-2-one. Some further reactions of these pyrimidine derivatives leading to fused heterocycles are described.????

Аннотация: Fluoroalkyl-containing 1,2,3-trione 2-arylhydrazones react with methylamine in different ways, depending on the substrate structure. Arylhydrazones having a short fluoroalkyl substituent (RF = CF3, HCF2CF2) react at the carbonyl group adjacent to the nonfluorinated substituent to give 3-alkyl(aryl)-2-aryldiazenyl-3-methylamino-1-polyfluoroalkylprop-2-en-1-ones. Arylhydrazones with a long-chain fluoroalkyl group (RF = C3F7 and longer) and a bulky nonfluorinated group take up methylamine molecule at the carbonyl group linked to the fluorinated substituent, and the subsequent haloform reaction yields N-methyl-2-arylhydrazono-3-oxobutanamides. Both types of products are formed in reactions of methylamine with 1,2,3-triketone 2-arylhydrazones having a long fluoroalkyl group and methyl group at the other carbonyl group. Template condensation of fluoroalkyl-containing 1,2,3-trione 2-arylhydrazones with methylamine over Ni(II) template gives bis[3-alkyl(aryl)-1-polyfluoroalkyl-3-methylamino-2-aryldiazenylprop-2-en-1-onato-N,N?]-nickel(II), regardless of the size of the fluoroalkyl substituent. The same complexes and their copper analogs can be obtained by treatment of 3-alkyl(aryl)-2-aryldiazenyl-3-methylamino-1-polyfluoroalkylprop-2-en-1-ones with the corresponding metal salts

Аннотация: Hexafluoroacetylacetone reacts with urea (thiourea) to yield respectively 4,6-bis(hydroxy)-4,6-bis(trifluoromethyl)hexahydropyrimidin-2-one(thione). The dehydration of the products and also reaction of nonsymmetrical fluoroalkyl-containing 1,3-diketones with urea (thiourea) afford substituted pyrimidines. The condensation of fluorinated 3-oxoesters and 1,3-diketones with benzaldehyde and urea (thiourea) results in 5-alkoxycarbonyl(acyl)-4-hydroxy-2-oxo(thioxo)-6-phenyl-4-fluoroalkylhexahydropyrimidines that on dehydration furnish 5-alkoxycarbonyl(acyl)-2-oxo(thioxo)-4-phenyl-6-fluoroalkyltetrahydropyrimidines. Ethyl 7-nonafluorobutyl-5-phenyl-2,3-dihydrothiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidine-6-carboxylate hydrobromide forms in reaction of dibromoethane with ethyl ether of 2-thioxo-4-phenyl-6-nonafluorobutyltetrahydropyrimidine

Аннотация: According to the 1H, 13C, and 19F NMR data, fluoroalkyl-containing 1,2,3-trione 2-arylhydrazones in CDCl3 exist exclusively, while in (CD3)2CO preferentially, as isomers in which the acyl or aroyl group is involved in intramolecular hydrogen bond. The isomer structure was assigned on the basis of the chemical shifts of the carbonyl carbon atoms and fluorine atoms and carbon-fluorine spin-spin coupling constants J C-F. X-Ray diffraction data showed that 1,2,3-trione 2-arylhydrazones in crystal have the same structure as in CDCl3 solution. Quantum-chemical calculations were performed to rationalize predominant formation of 1,2,3-trione 2-arylhydrazone isomers with a free polyfluoroacyl group
