Аннотация: Products of the hydrothermal alteration of rocks and vertical zonality at the Kanimansur silver-polymetallic deposit (Tadjikistan) have been studied. On the basis of these studies, physicocochemical conditions of metasomatism and ore formation were reviewed. Condensed carbonaceous matter in wall rock metasomatites and ores were found and carbon isotopic composition of this carbonaceous matter and composition of gases in open pores in rocks of the deposit were analyzed. As a result of geological observations, analysis of mineral parageneses, compositions of minerals, and chemistry of wall rock alteration, the following four stages of the hydrothermal process were distinguished: autometasomatic, propylitic, preore chlorite-sericite, and synore. Mineral geothermometers were used to estimate the temperatures of metasomatism, which varied within the range 200-250°C for all stages except for the autometasomatic stage (450-500°C). The formation of unhydrated light micas, quartz, and highly ferruginuous chlorites was related to acid preore metasomatism. The stability of these chlorites testifies to a slight increase in the acidity of solutions during the preore stage (pH not less than 3.5). The wall rock metasomatites and sulfide ores are characterized by a relatively rare occurrence of pyrite due to a low activity of the sulfide sulfur during hydrothermal alterations (logaS2 = -7...-10). The low activity of the sulfide sulfur is confirmed by the fact that iron is tied in a highly ferruginuous chlorite. At upper ore levels, even zinc is tied in chlorite. This testifies to a much greater aS2 /aO2 value. Judging by the participation of carbonaceous matter in the process, ore components were deposited due to a local increase in the alkalinity at the ore-forming stage and oxidation of reduced fluids. The established features of metasomatic transformations, are related to particulars of the regional magmatism.????

Аннотация: Thiocarbamoyl chitosan (TCC) was synthesized by grafting thiourea on chitosan backbone in eutectic composition of ammonium thiocyanate—thiourea. Insoluble products with the amno group functionalization degree of 0.3–1.1 can be prepared by varying the conditions of polymer-analogous (synthesis in a gel) transformation. Structure of the synthesized chitosan derivatives was characterized by elemental analysis, diffuse reflectance infrared spectroscopy, and the solid state 13C NMR. Study of sorption properties of TCC shows high sorption capacity and selectivity for the ions of gold(III), platinum(IV), and palladium(II) as evidenced by results obtained at pH 2 in the presence of 100–1000-fold excess of iron(III), copper(II), zinc(II), and nickel(II). Sorption capacity of TCC for all ions increases with the increase in the degree of substitution and changes in the series: AuIII > PdII > PtIV

Аннотация: It is demonstrated that the wear rate of tribocouples can be reduced significantly with the use of lubricating compositions obtained by added super- and nanodispersed zinc or Cu-Sn powders to the Lithol-24 plastic grease. When the superdispersed powders of copper alloys interact with tribosurfaces, the copper and tin diffuse into the base metal, producing secondary composite superdispersed structures. The alloyed elements penetrate into the base metal more deeply if the powder contains the nanodispersed fraction. The films of polyfluorinated oligomers based on particles of zinc and copper alloy powders with functional substitutes reduce substantially the friction coefficient of kinematic couples when they are lubricated with these lubricating compositions and expand the temperature range of application of plastic greases

Аннотация: Ethyl esters of 2,4-dibromo-2-R1-4-R2-3-oxopentanoic and -hexanoic acids react with zinc and aliphatic or aromatic aldehydes under the conditions of the Reformatskii reaction to give 3-R1-5,5-R2, R2-6-R3-2,3,5,6-tetrahydropyran-2,4-diones, which are obtained in three forms: keto, enol with enolization of the keto group, and enol with enolization of the ester group. The keto form is isolated by crystallization from a mixture of CCl4 and petroleum ether; the first enol form, from MeOH, EtOH, and polar aprotic solvents; and the second enol form, from CHCl3. The second enol form is oxidized in DMSO to form a keto compound containing a hydroxy group at the 3-position of the heteroring

Аннотация: Novel pharmacologically active silicon—titanium—zinc- and silicon—titanium—boron-containing glycerohydrogels were synthesized by the sol—gel method using silicon, titanium, zinc, and boron glycerolates as biocompatible precursors. The compositions and structural features of the hydrogels were studied by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, IR spectroscopy, atomic emission spectrometry, and elemental analysis methods. The disperse phase and liquid water—glycerol medium of the hydrogels were isolated by cold exhaustive extraction with ethanol and characterized. The 3D polymeric network of the gels is formed by the products of hydrolysis and subsequent (co)condensation of silicon-/silicon—boron-containing precursors. Titanium and zinc glycerolates undergo no hydrolytic transformations under gelation conditions and exist in the cells of the 3D polymeric network in the form of amorphous nanoparticles that are not linked to the network by covalent bonds. Models of the structures were proposed. The gels are characterized by antimicrobial activity, which is more pronounced for the silicon—titanium—boron-containing gel, and they can be considered as promising drugs for topical treatment prepared by the simple, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective method.

Аннотация: The hybrid materials based on polysiloxane modified by amino groups have been synthesized by the sol-gel method. Aminated polysiloxane has been prepared by the copolycondensation reaction of tetraethoxysilane with gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APS-1) and through the modification of the product (APS-2) of the hydrolysis of tetraethoxysilane by gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane. The composition of sorbents has been confirmed by the elemental analysis and IR Fourier spectroscopy. The high degree of sorption extraction of copper(II), nickel(II), cobalt(II), zinc(II), cadmium(II), and lead(II) ions in the case of their coexistence in an ammonia-acetate buffer solution has been observed for polysiloxanes APS-2. The synthesized surface-modified materials exhibit the highest selectivity to nickel(II) and cobalt(II) ions
