Аннотация: Epoxidation of 3-chloro(bromo)heptafluoro-1-butenes and 3,4-dichlorohexafluoro-1-butene with aqueous solutions of sodium hypohalites is accompanied by cleavage of the carbon skeleton at the double bond and formation of polyfluorocarboxylic acid sodium salts as by-products. 3-Chloro(bromo)-1,2- epoxyheptafluoro- and 3,4-dichloro-1,2-epoxyhexafluorobutanes were synthesized and subjected to isomerization into carbonyl compounds by the action of cesium fluoride or antimony pentafluoride.

Аннотация: Perfluorotetrahydrofuran-2-carboxylic acid was converted through a series of transformations into perfluoro-2,3-dihydrofuran and perfluoro-2,5- dihydrofuran; likewise, from (2-perfluorotetrahydrofuryl)difluoroacetic acid 2-trifluoromethylpentafluoro-2,3-dihydrofuran was obtained. Perfluoro-2,3- dihydrofuran and 2-trifluoromethylpentafluoro-2,3-dihydrofuran underwent isomerization into perfluoro-2,5-dihydrofuran and 2-trifluoromethylpentafluoro- 2,5-dihydrofuran by the action of cesium fluoride. Treatment of perfluoro-2,5-dihydrofuran with SbF5 resulted in ring opening and formation of cis-perfluoro-2-butenoyl fluoride, while 2- trifluoromethylpentafluoro-2,3-dihydrofuran was converted into 2-trifluoromethylpentafluoro-2,5-dihydrofuran under the same conditions. Perfluoro-3,4-epoxytetrahydrofuran and 2-trifluoromethyl-3,4-epoxypenta- fluorotetrahydrofuran containing fused oxirane and tetrahydrofuran rings were synthesized by reactions of perfluoro-2,5-dihydrofuran and 2- trifluoromethylpentafluoro-2,5-dihydrofuran, respectively, with sodium hypochlorite.

Аннотация: Study of the Khitoostrov, Varatsk, and other corundum occurrences in kyanite-garnet-biotite plagiogneisses of the Chupa section (Belomorian Mobile Belt) has revealed their association with products of low-alkaline Ca-Na metasomatism characterized by high PT conditions. Similar corundum-bearing rocks, which were also presumably formed during subalkaline metasomatism, are known in Tanzania, India, the United States, and other countries. This paper presents the first results of analysis of the corundum-forming Ca-Na metasomatism.

Аннотация: General method for preparation of high yields of novel N-protected carborane amino acid derivatives, 3-acylamino-1-carboxymethyl-2-R-o-carboranes (R = H, Me, Ph), is reported. The synthesis starts from readily available 3-amino-o-carboranes and includes the protection of amino group, introduction of carboxymethyl function to the carbon atom of polyhedron via the metallation of carborane CH bond with sodium amide in liquid ammonia, and treatment of corresponding sodium carboranes with sodium bromoacetate. Deprotection of N-acylated carborane amino acids is studied in acidic media. Depending on the procedure employed, closo- or nido-carborane amino acids were obtained

Аннотация: 1,2,3-Triketone 2-(antipyrin-4-yl)hydrazones were synthesized via the azo-coupling reactions of 1,3-diketones with 2-(antipyrin-4-yl)diazonium chloride. The fluoroalkyl-containing hetarylhydrazone enters into cyclocondensation with hydrazines at the 1,3-dicarbonyl fragment to yield 3-tetrafluoroethyl derivatives of pyrazole. It was found that 1,2,3-triketone 2-(antipyrin-4-yl)hydrazones and N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-substituted pyrazole exhibit analgesic activity comparable with that of their structural analog analgin (metamizole sodium), but do not possess antipyretic properties. In contrast, N-phenyl-substituted pyrazole did not exhibit analgesic properties but produced a certain antipyretic effect four hours after pyrogenic administration. Fluoroalkyl-containing compounds are less toxic substances than nonfluorinated 2-(antipyrin-4-yl)hydrazone and analgin.

Аннотация: On treatment with sodium alkoxides in the corresponding alcohols, [2-iodo-3-(perfluoroalkyl)propyl]glycidyl ethers are converted into 3-alkoxy-1-[3-(perfluoroalkyl)prop-2-enyloxy]-propan-2-ols in 56-78% yields, while its reaction with 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol and phenol under phase transfer conditions (NaOH, CH2Cl2-H2O, Bu 4N+I-, 35-40 °C) gives 3-alkoxy1-[2-iodo-3- (perfluoroalkyl)propoxy]propan-2-ols (yields 45-72%).

Аннотация: A series of organosilicontitanium (OST) glycerohydrogels with the general formula 2Si(C3H7O3)4 Ti(C3H7O3)4 xC3H8O3 yH2O (where 9 x 30 and 60 y 120) were synthesized and some of their pharmacological properties were studied. High percutaneous activity of the compounds was revealed by measuring the diffusion of sodium diclofenac through intact skin membranes in vitro. It was established that all of the synthesized substances are nontoxic. The wound-healing and antioxidant properties of the glycerohydrogels were studied. The experimental results show that OST glycerohydrogels can be recommended for further testing as effective percutaneous vehicles of medicines with wound-healing, burn-healing, and antioxidant action

Аннотация: 3-Trifluoromethyl-substituted 4-nitrosopyrazolines and 4-nitrosopyrazoles were prepared by a one-pot synthesis from trifluoromethyl-containing 1,3-diketones, sodium nitrite in acetic acid, and hydrazines (hydrazine hydrate, methylhydrazine). 3-Trifluoromethylpyrazolines can be converted to pyrazoles on heating. The use of phenylhydrazine in these reactions led to the formation of regioisomeric 4-hydroxyimino-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrazoline. The structure of heterocycles synthesized was established using X-ray diffraction study, 1H and 19F NMR spectroscopy. The obtained products exhibited considerable tuberculostatic activity

Аннотация: Two methods for synthesis of new nucleosides bearing 6-phenyl-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-7-ones as a base have been developed. The first one includes Vorbruggen glycosylation reaction. The second method, which is effective for synthesis of acyclic nucleosides, is based on the condensation between sodium salts of 6-phenyl-1,2,4-triazolo [1,5-a]pyrimidin-7-ones and 4-bromobuthyl acetate or (Z)-4-bromobut-2-en-1-yl acetate ??

Аннотация: The azo coupling reaction of N-(2-carboxyethyl)anthranilic acid and N,N,N,N-tetrabis(2-carboxyethyl)-1,3-phenylenediamine with diazosulfanilic acid yielded the complexones sodium 4-N-(2-carboxyethyl)amino-5-carboxyazobenzene-4?-sulfonate (I) and 2,4-N,N,N,N-tetrabis(2-carboxyethyl)diaminoazobenzene-4?-sulfonic acid (II), respectively. The acidity constants of I and II (20°C = 0.1M KCl) were determined to be as follows: for I, pK 00 = 1.29 ± 0.13, pK 0 = 2.92 ± 0.07, pK 1 = 3.92 ± 0.05, pK 2 = 5.16 ± 0.03; for II, pK 00 = 2.35 ± 0.06, pK 0 = 2.81 ± 0.09, pK 1 = 3.21 ± 0.11, pK 2 = 3.81 ± 0.09, pK 3 = 4.34 ± 0.04, pK 4 = 5.03 ± 0.06, pK 5 = 6.67 ± 0.07. The electronic absorption spectra of I and II were measured, and acid-base equilibrium scheme for I and II in aqueous solutions were suggested. The complexation constants of I and II with copper(II) ions were determined to be logK CuQI= 5.47 ± 0.06 and logK CuQII= 5.72 ± 0.13 (20°C = 0.1 M KCl). ??
