Аннотация: 1-Ethyl-2,3-dicyano-5-nitromethyl-6-methoxy-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrazine reacts with N-methylquinoxalinium iodide in the presence of triethylamine to form octahydro-2,4a,5,10-tetraazabenzo[b]fluorene-3,4-dicarbonitrile, while our attempts to obtain similar polycyclic products from stereoisomeric 5-(S)- and 5-(R)-(1`-nitroprop-1`-yl)-6-methoxy-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrazines derived from the reaction of 1-nitropropane with 2,3-dicyano-5,6-dimethoxy-1-ethyl-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrazine.

Аннотация: A new, efficient methodology for the synthesis of substituted thienylpyridines includes the synthesis of 3-thienyl-1,2,4-triazines using simple heterocyclisation followed by easy transformation of the triazine ring to a pyridine through an aza Diels–Alder approach. A variety of substituted pyridines can be easily achieved using cheap, commercially available reagents such as bromoacetylarenes, aroyl hydrazides, norbornadiene, and enamines in various combinations. New thienylpyridines form phosphorescent cyclometallated Pt complexes.??

Аннотация: The synthesis of pyridine and bipyridine derivatives of m-carborane via aza Diels–Alder reaction of 1,2,4-triazines with 9-allyl m-carborane and their structural characterization and photophysical properties are described. The products 3- and 4-(m-carborane-9-ylmethyl)-2,2`-bipyridines form Zn(II) complexes on reaction with ZnCl2, which increases significantly their fluorescence intensity.

Аннотация: On the basis of the results obtained from NMR spectroscopy, X-ray analysis and chemical transformations, it was established that acidic hydrolysis of (2S,4S)-4-arylaminoglutamates results in the formation of lactams in which ring closure occurs with the participation of the Y-amino and alfa-COOH groups; but isomeric lactams resulting from the participation of the alfa-amino and Y-COOH groups are not formed. Isomeric lactams, that is, (2S,4S)-4-arylamino-5-oxoprolines, can be easily converted in acidic medium into more stable 4-amino-1-aryl-5-oxoprolines.

Аннотация: The reaction of octafluoro-2,3-epoxybutane 1 with 2-aminothiophenol gave three kinds of novel fluorocontaining N,S-heterocyclic compounds depending on the solvent nature: 2,3-bis(trifluoromethyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzothiazin-2-ol 2, 2-trifluoromethyl-2-[1-(2-aminophenylthio)-2,2,2-trifluoroethyl]-1,3-benzothiazolidine 6 and 5a,11a-bis(trifluoromethyl)-5a,6,11a,12-tetrahydro-5,11-dithia-6,12-diazanaphthacene 5. Use of the toluene, dioxane, tetrahydrofuran, acetonitrile and dimethoxyethane gave the unexpected dihydrobenzothiazine 2 (RS,SR RR,SS) in good to moderate yields. In dimethylsulfoxide and N,N-dimethylacetamide, unusual cyclization occurred resulting in benzothiazolidine 6 (RS,SR/RR,SS 1:1) in moderate yields. Formation of minor 1,1,1,3,4,4,4-heptafluoro-3-(2-aminophenylthio)-2,2-dihydroxybutane 4 which was converted into bis(benzothiazine) 5 was observed in all solvents tested with the exception of toluene and dioxane. The molecular structure of the RS,SR-diastereomer of dihydrobenzothiazine 2, bis(benzothiazine) 5 and the RS,SR-diastereomer of benzothiazolidine 6 has been established by X-ray crystallography.

Аннотация: Meanwhile 5-aryl-6-cyano-2,2-bipyridines are very stable towards various nucleophiles, addition copper(II) chloride to the reactional mixture facilitates nucleophilic addition to the cyano group dramatically. The cyanobipyridines react easily with water, methanol, ethanolamine in the presence of CuCl2 yielding well-crystallized complexes containing carboxylates, carboximidates or carboxamidines as ligands. 5-Cyano-1,2,4-triazines are more active in the reactions due to higher electron-withdrawing properties of this heterocycle. Due to the same reason acetylene moiety of 5-ethynyl-3-pyridyl-1,2,4-triazine adds water quite easily but in the presence of copper chloride as well

Аннотация: The reaction of oxides of internal perfluoroolefins 1–3 with urea gave two kinds of novel fluorine containing N-heterocyclic compounds depending on the solvent nature: 1,5-bis(perfluoroalkyl)tetraazabicyclo[3.3.0]octane-3,7-diones 4a–c and 2-amino-5-fluoro-4,5-bis(perfluoroalkyl)-4,5-dihydrooxazol-4-ols 7a–d. Use of polar dimethylsulfoxide, N,N-dimethylacetamide and acetonitrile afforded glycolurils 4a–c in moderate yields. In dioxane, unexpected cyclization occurred resulting in oxazolines 7a–d in high yields. A similar reaction of oxiranes 2, 3 with urea in aqueous dioxane gave mixtures of 4,5-dihydroxy-4,5-bis(perfluoroalkyl)imidazolidine-2-ones 9b, c, glycolurils 4b, c and oxazolines 7b–d. The molecular structure of trans-isomers of oxazoline 7b and imidazolidine 9b has been established by X-ray crystallography??

Аннотация: Radical species generated from 5-aryl-substituted 1-ethyl-2,3-dicyano-1,4-diazinium salts by action of sodium iodide undergo dimerization into [2,2?]bipyrazinyl derivatives, as evidenced by NMR and X-ray crystallography data. Аннотация: Condensation of ethyl 3-polyfluoroalkyl-3-oxopropionates with excess triethyl orthoformate gave ethyl 3-polyfluoroalkyl-2-ethoxymethylidene-3-oxopropionates which reacted with primary aliphatic, aromatic, and heterocyclic amines to form ethyl 2-alkyl(aryl, hetaryl)aminomethylidene-3-polyfluoroalkyl-3-oxopropionates. According to the X-ray diffraction and IR data, the latter exist in the crystalline state as the corresponding E isomers, while in solution (NMR data), as mixtures of Z and E isomers. Condensation of ethyl 2-ethoxymethylidene-3-oxopropionates with secondary heterocyclic amines (morpholine and pyrrolidine) led to the formation of 2-morpholino(pyrrolidin-1-yl)methylidene-3-fluoroalkyl-3-oxopropionates which were shown to exist as Z isomers both in the crystalline state and in solution

Аннотация: Fluoroalkyl-containing 1,2,3-trione 2-arylhydrazones react with methylamine in different ways, depending on the substrate structure. Arylhydrazones having a short fluoroalkyl substituent (RF = CF3, HCF2CF2) react at the carbonyl group adjacent to the nonfluorinated substituent to give 3-alkyl(aryl)-2-aryldiazenyl-3-methylamino-1-polyfluoroalkylprop-2-en-1-ones. Arylhydrazones with a long-chain fluoroalkyl group (RF = C3F7 and longer) and a bulky nonfluorinated group take up methylamine molecule at the carbonyl group linked to the fluorinated substituent, and the subsequent haloform reaction yields N-methyl-2-arylhydrazono-3-oxobutanamides. Both types of products are formed in reactions of methylamine with 1,2,3-triketone 2-arylhydrazones having a long fluoroalkyl group and methyl group at the other carbonyl group. Template condensation of fluoroalkyl-containing 1,2,3-trione 2-arylhydrazones with methylamine over Ni(II) template gives bis[3-alkyl(aryl)-1-polyfluoroalkyl-3-methylamino-2-aryldiazenylprop-2-en-1-onato-N,N?]-nickel(II), regardless of the size of the fluoroalkyl substituent. The same complexes and their copper analogs can be obtained by treatment of 3-alkyl(aryl)-2-aryldiazenyl-3-methylamino-1-polyfluoroalkylprop-2-en-1-ones with the corresponding metal salts
