Аннотация: Diesters on the basis of 16-hydroxyisosteviol and dicarboxylic acids, exhibiting anti-tubercular activity, transport Fe(III) through liquid chloroform membrane which models a cell membrane. It is revealed that fluxes and anti-tubercular activity increase, as the length of the chain (spacer) between two ent-beyran skeletons of diesters increases. Computations on the level DFT/PBE explain the dependence of complexes stability on a structure of diterpenoid ligands. The structures of three diesters were established by single crystal X-ray analysis. ??

Аннотация: A reaction of pivalate polymer [Mn(OOCCMe3)2(EtOH)]n (1) with 3-hydroxy-6-(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine (2, L) in EtOH solution under inert atmosphere gives rise to an antiferromagnetic 2D-polymer [Mn(?-N,N?O-3,5-Me2C3HN2C2(O)N4)2]n (4). According to the X-ray analysis data, M(L–H)2 units form a 2D-infinite network in the lattice of compound 4 where L–H is a starting deprotonated hydroxytetrazine. The reaction of 1 with bis[3,5-(dimethylpyrazolyl)]-1,2,4,5-tetrazine (3) in MeCN solution in air results in an antiferromagnetic hexanuclear pivalate cluster Mn6(?4-O)2(?-OOCCMe3)10(L1)4 (5) where L1 is a dimethylpyrazole molecule – product of hydrolytic splitting of initial bispyrazolyltetrazine.

Аннотация: 4-Phenyl-2,6-bis(trifluoroacetyl)cyclohexanone and its dilithium salt were synthesized starting from the commercially available 4-phenylcyclohexanone. With X-ray structure analysis of these compounds, for the first time the solid state structure determination for a fluorinated 1,3,5-triketone and an alkaline salt of 1,3,5-triketone was achieved. The subsequent multinuclear NMR and MS investigations revealed that in solution and gas phase, analogously to the crystal, both compounds exist predominantly in a highly delocalized double U-enol(ate) form. The carbonyl O…O distances in the dilithium salt were established to be considerably longer than the distances between oxygens of the parent 1,3,5-triketone, bonded by strong (short) resonance assisted hydrogen bonds. Among the 1,3,5-tricarbonyl compounds with known crystal structure, the entitled 1,3,5-triketone shows comparatively weak delocalization over the conjugated bis-enolone backbone.

Аннотация: The behavior of linear and cyclic fluorinated 1,3,5-triketones and their metal derivatives towards common halogenating agents was examined, and optimal reaction conditions for the straightforward synthesis of mono-, di-, and tetrahalogenated products were found (Schemes 1-3). An aromatization through a double HBr elimination from an ,-dibrominated cyclohexanone was shown to be a promising synthetic route to 1,1-(2-hydroxy-1,3-phenylene)bis[2,2,2-trifluoroethanones] (= 2,6-bis(trifluoroacetyl)phenols; Scheme 4). Additionally, the 1,3,5-triketones prepared add readily H2O or alcohols to produce novel bridged 2,6-dihydroxypyran-4-ones (Scheme 2). The structure of the obtained compounds 6a and 7a was confirmed by X-ray structure analysis.

Аннотация: On the basis of the results obtained from NMR spectroscopy, X-ray analysis and chemical transformations, it was established that acidic hydrolysis of (2S,4S)-4-arylaminoglutamates results in the formation of lactams in which ring closure occurs with the participation of the Y-amino and alfa-COOH groups; but isomeric lactams resulting from the participation of the alfa-amino and Y-COOH groups are not formed. Isomeric lactams, that is, (2S,4S)-4-arylamino-5-oxoprolines, can be easily converted in acidic medium into more stable 4-amino-1-aryl-5-oxoprolines.

Аннотация: Complete esters of pentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane, and 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol with polyfluorinated carboxylic acids were prepared by esterification. As determined by differential thermal gravimetric analysis in air, the resistance of the esters to thermal oxidation decreases in going from pentaerythritol derivatives to those of trimethylolpropane and then to those of 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol. The compounds synthesized surpass their nonfluorinated analogs in the resistance to thermal oxidation.

Аннотация: Polyfluorinated 1,3-diketones containing carbocycles react with aldehydes under Lewis-acid catalysis and also with dimethylformamide-dimetylacetal without catalysis, yielding exclusively (E)-configured condensation products involving the methylene group of the carbocycle. Novel trifluoromethylated chromenes are prepared from 2-trifluoroacetylcycloalkanones and salicylaldehyde. The structures of two new compounds, 2-(E)-benzylidene-6-trifluoroacetylcyclohexanone and 4-trifluoroacetyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-xantene, are confirmed by X-ray structure analysis.

Аннотация: The critical temperatures and pressures of eight n-diaminoalkanes NH 2(CH2)nNH2 with n = 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 have been measured. The method of pulse heating of a wire probe immersed into the liquid under study has been used. Residence times are from (0.03 to 1) ms. The critical properties of diaminoalkanes have been estimated by the group-contribution methods by Joback and Reid, Constantinou and Gani, and Marrero and Gani. These properties have also been calculated using a method based on the assumption that the functions describing the dependence of the critical properties of homologous series on the number of mers in a molecule should be self-similar and provide the scaling behavior for long-chain molecules. The last method provides the best accuracy in calculating the critical properties of diaminoalkanes. For this method, the average absolute errors are equal to 0.4 % for the critical temperature and about 2 % for the critical pressure. © 2006 American Chemical Society

Аннотация: Steric structure of fluorinated 2-arylhydrazono-3-oxo esters was studied by 1H, 19F, and 13C NMR spectroscopy and X-ray analysis. It was found that these compounds in the crystalline state and in solutions in acetone-d 6, DMSO-d 6, and CDCl3 exist as Z isomers with the ester fragment involved in intramolecular hydrogen bond with the hydrazone NH proton. Exceptions are alkyl 2-arylhydrazono-4,4-difluoro-3-oxobutanoates which exist in acetone-d 6 as mixtures of Z and E isomers, the former prevailing. Unlike fluorinated analogs, ethyl 2-(4-methylphenyl)hydrazono-3-oxobutanoate in crystal has the structure of E isomer in which intramolecular hydrogen bond is formed between the NH proton and acetyl carbonyl group. The same compound in acetone-d 6, DMSO-d 6, and CDCl3 gives rise to a mixture of Z and E isomers, the latter prevailing

Аннотация: A series of new hybrid organo-inorganic sorbents with the 3-aminopropionate chelating group was synthesized. The synthesis includes the copolycondensation (sol—gel method) of tetraethoxysilane, 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, and several modifiers (MeSi(OEt)3, EtSi(OEt)3, Ti(OEt)4, AlONO3, ZrOCl2) followed by carboxyethylation with acrylic acid. The obtained chelating sorbents were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetry. The N-carboxylated sorbents have a higher sorption capacity with respect to metal ions (0.5–0.9 mmol g?1, pH 6.3, NH4OAc, 20 °C) than the starting sorbents with the primary amino group (0.05–0.2 mmol g?1) and manifest high selectivity for copper(II) ion extraction

Аннотация: Reactions of polyfluoro-2,3-epoxyalkanes with thiourea and thiosemicarbazide afforded 2-amino-4-hydroxy-4,5-di(polyfluoroalkyl)-5-fluoro-1,3-thiazolines and 2-hydrazino-4-hydroxy-4,5-di(polyfluoroalkyl)-5-fluoro-1,3-thiazolines respectively. Unsymmetrical oxiranes furnish mixtures of regioisomeric heterocyclic compounds, and the epoxy cycle is predominantly cleaved from the side of bulkier fluoroalkyl group. The reactions of E-oxiranes are stereospecific and provide 1,3-thiazolines in the E-form. The structure of compounds obtained was confirmed by IR, 19F, 1H, and 13C NMR spectroscopy, by mass spectra and chemical transformations. E-isomers of 2-amino-4-hydroxy-4,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)-5-fluoro-1,3-thiazoline and 2-amino-5-heptafluoropropyl-4-hydroxy-4-trifluoromethyl-5-fluoro-1,3-thiazoline were subjected to X-ray diffraction analysis.

Аннотация: Internal perfluoroolefin oxides reacted with urea to give, depending on the solvent nature, two types of new fluorine-substituted nitrogen-containing heterocycles. 1,5-Bis(perfluoroalkyl)tetraazabicyclo[3.3.0]octane-3,7-diones were formed in dimethyl sulfoxide, N,N-dimethylacetamide, and acetonitrile, while the reaction in dioxane resulted in the formation of unexpected products, 2-amino-5-fluoro-4,5-bis(perfluoroalkyl)-4,5-dihydrooxazol-4-ols, existing mainly as trans isomers. trans Orientation of perfluoroalkyl substituents in these compounds was determined by analysis of 19F-19F spin-spin coupling constants in the 19F NMR spectra. The molecular structure of trans-2-amino-5-fluoro-4,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)-4,5-dihydrooxazol-4-ol was studied by X-ray analysis.
