The temperature dependences B( T) and C( T) are approximated by expressions which convey correctly the behavior of the virial coefficients in the low-and high-temperature limits. The free parameters of approximation formulas for pure nitrogen, argon, and oxygen are determined. The derived virial equations of state are used to calculate the limit of significant instability of the gas phase in a wide temperature range.

Аннотация: The system of two nonlinear stochastic equations simulating 1/f fluctuations during the interaction of nonequilibrium phase transitions in the presence of an external periodic action has been studied by numerical methods. It is shown that in the system there appears stochastic resonance, which leads to an amplification of the output periodic signal under the action of noise. To a random process with a 1/f power spectrum corresponds the maximum Gibbs-Shannon informational entropy. At stochastic resonance the informational entropy is minimum. A new behavior of a two-dimensional system at stochastic resonance has been revealed: at low frequencies of a periodic action with an increased white noise intensity the system trajectories are limited by two mutually perpendicular directions - anisotropic stochastic resonance. With a further increase in the white noise intensity in the system one can observe "ordinary" stochastic resonance, when the increasing intensity of fluctuations in the vicinity of the driving frequency is smeared in the directions

Аннотация: A study has been made on the statistics of fluctuations in a spatially distributed system, which describes the interaction of nonequilibrium phase transitions. It is shown that at a certain intensity of external white noise acting on phase transitions, the time and spatial spectra of fluctuations have power laws S(f)∼f−α and S(k)∼k−γ. The dependence of the exponents α and γ on the value of the diffusion coefficient determining the spatial interaction of fluctuations have been found. Extreme low-frequency fluctuations has been revealed and distribution functions of their duration P(τ)∼τ−β and size P(s)∼s−ν have been determined. It has been found that the exponent α of the frequency dependence of time spectra and the exponent β of the distribution function of the fluctuation duration are related by the relation α+β=2. The exponent of the spatial spectrum γ and the exponent of the size distribution function ν are related by a similar relation: γ+ν=2. The results of experimental studies on fluctuations in a typical nonequilibrium phase transition such as transient modes of water boiling on a wire heater are presented. It was demonstrated that the critical exponents, which describe the power dependence of power spectra of fluctuations and the amplitude distribution of extreme surges, are related by the relation α+β=2 both in experiments and in the theoretical model of interacting heterogeneous phase transitions

Аннотация: Using the principle of maximum entropy, we investigate the stability of stochastic processes with the 1/f power spectrum in the system of two nonlinear stochastic differential equations when modeling pulsations in crisis and transient heat-mass transfer regimes with intensive phase transitions. An analysis of the stability of the resultant process, which appears upon the interaction of the stochastic process and the 1/f spectrum of external deterministic impact, is performed. Under the action of harmonic force, stable resultant processes are divided into two types depending on the amplitude of the harmonic force. We have experimentally studied the influence of harmonic impact on the stability of pulsations with the 1/f spectrum upon the crisis of water boiling on a heated wire. The results are in qualitative agreement with theoretical estimations
