IR-radiation absorption spectra for these systems are calculated and analyzed; the radiation power scattered by these systems and the tangent of dielectric loss angle are determined. The inclusion of anharmonicity of phonon oscillation makes it possible to explain the origin of characteristic frequencies appearing in IR spectra of mixtures of cluster systems. The capture of molecules of greenhouse gases by an ultradisperse aqueous medium affects the ability of this medium to absorb terrestrial radiation, i.e., reduces the greenhouse effect.

Аннотация: The stability and evolution of the shapes of jets of strongly superheated aqueous solutions of ethanol flowing out of a high-pressure chamber are experimentally investigated at various initial parameters. It has been found that a low-boiling liquid causes shifting to lower temperatures of the boundaries between various kinds of boiling-up jets, such as cylindrical, conical, and open. Large-scale pulsations of the jet shapes are observed in the temperature range from 454 to 484 K, where the jet completely breaks down. The conditions for the formation of large-scale low-frequency pulsations with a power spectrum diverging inversely proportional to the frequency f (1/f spectra) have been revealed. Such fluctuations prove that the flow is unstable and large-scale low-frequency ejections are possible

The temperature of normal oil boiling is not lower than 340°C. A considerable delay in the crisis of bubble boiling is obtained for both emulsions, and is particularly noticeable for the ether/water emulsion. In the latter case the coefficient of connective heat transfer and the density of heat flux substantially exceed the corresponding values for pure initial liquids in the entire investigated range of temperatures (from 20 to 230°C) and pressures (from 0.1 to 3.6 MPa)

The dependence presented was obtained from the proposed model of the chain branched activation of boiling centers in droplets of a superheated liquid. In this case the coefficient J acquires the meaning of the activation rate of these centers.??

Аннотация: A 3D model has been developed for investigating heat and mass transfer in a flat evaporator of a copper-water loop heat pipe. It takes into account heat-transfer processes in the active zone, the barrier layer of the wick, the wall and the compensation chamber. The problem was solved by the finite difference method with the use of a nonuniform grid adapted to the configuration of the flat evaporator and its geometric peculiarities. Investigations have been carried out for understanding the effect of the heating zone size on heat distribution in the evaporator. The heating area was 9 cm 2 with a uniform heat supply and 1 cm 2 with a concentrated one. Numerical simulation has been performed for a heat load range from 20 to 1100 W. Data have shown that a decrease in the heating area at a fixed heat load results in both increasing temperature on the evaporator wall under the heater and local wick draining in the active zone. The results of the model have been verified using results of experimental tests.

Аннотация: A three-dimensional heat-and-mass transfer model of a flat evaporator of a loop heat pipe has been developed for investigating heat-and-mass in a compensation chamber filled with a liquid. Numerical simulation was implemented using EFDLab® software package in order to predict the temperature distribution of the flat evaporator of a copper-water LHP (loop heat pipe) as well as the flow streamline and velocity field in the compensation chamber as a function of heat load. A computer simulation makes it possible to evaluate the heat exchange at the inner surface of the compensation chamber. Heat exchange data were used as a boundary condition in researching the problem of the drying effect of a wick and a transformation of the evaporating front in the active zone of the flat evaporator. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. Аннотация: A three-dimensional heat-and-mass transfer model of a flat evaporator of a loop heat pipe has been developed for investigating heat-and-mass in a compensation chamber filled with a liquid. Numerical simulation was implemented using EFDLab® software package in order to predict the temperature distribution of the flat evaporator of a copper-water LHP (loop heat pipe) as well as the flow streamline and velocity field in the compensation chamber as a function of heat load. A computer simulation makes it possible to evaluate the heat exchange at the inner surface of the compensation chamber. Heat exchange data were used as a boundary condition in researching the problem of the drying effect of a wick and a transformation of the evaporating front in the active zone of the flat evaporator. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd.
