Аннотация: The effect of the magnetic flux creep on the levitation stability of high-temperature superconductors was studied. It was shown experimentally that under a unipolar magnetization the levitation force decreased at a logarithmic velocity characteristic of the creep process. If the current structure was bi- or multi-polar one, which was formed in a sample exposed to a reversing external magnetic field, the force remained unchanged during a certain period of time. The theory of relaxation of magnetization and force for a partial and full penetration of the critical state was considered. It was shown that relaxation decelerated sharply if the region with a current producing the main magnetization was far from the superconductor surface. A concept of an open and internal magnetic relaxation was introduced. The time of the internal relaxation for different reverse depths was estimated. The calculated values approached the experimental values of the levitation stabilization time

Аннотация: This study deals with the decrease in the levitation force under the action of an ac field up to the frequency at which oscillations of the superconducting suspension are limited by inertia. The lifting force was measured as a function of the ac field amplitude and the exposure time. It was shown that the force quickly decreased at the moment the ac field was applied and then continued diminishing, but at a lower rate. A qualitative model was proposed, taking into account two effects of the ac field on the magnetization of the levitating superconductor: a complete destruction of the critical state in some section of the superconductor (to a depth λac) and the initiation of a faster magnetic relaxation in the region where the induction gradient is preserved

Аннотация: Stopping of levitation force relaxation in superconductors under conditions of flux creep was studied experimentally. This effect appears when the flux profile is modulated in the near-surface layer of a superconductor. It was assumed that levitation was stabilized thanks to locking of the magnetic flux and internal magnetic relaxation. During this relaxation, the flux was redistributed in a sample, but the full flux and the average magnetization of the sample remained unchanged. A parameter characterizing the modulation depth was introduced. This parameter allows calculating the time during which the levitation force is constant

Аннотация: The effect of magnetic flux creep on the lift force in a magnet/superconductor system was studied. It was shown experimentally that in the case of real levitation (when a levitating object bears only on a magnetic field) the suspension height and consequently the lift force did not change over a long period of time. When the levitating object is fixed for some time (i.e. a rigid constraint is imposed on it), the levitation height decreases after removal of the external constraint. It is assumed that free oscillations of the levitating object slow down the flux creep process, which is activated when these oscillations are suppressed
