Аннотация: New derivatives of fused fluoroquinolones bearing five aromatic rings have been obtained. The 19F NMR spectra of these pentacyclic fluoroquinolones demonstrate unusual through space 1H–19F and 19F–19F spin–spin interactions with coupling constants 6J(F, H)=2.0–3.0 Hz, 7J(F, F)=3.5–4.0 Hz and 9J(F, H)=3.0–3.5 Hz. Relative reactivities of fluorine atoms in pentacyclic fluoroquinolones in the amino-defluorination reactions are also different relative to bi- and tricyclic fluoroquinolones

Аннотация: Radical species generated from 5-aryl-substituted 1-ethyl-2,3-dicyano-1,4-diazinium salts by action of sodium iodide undergo dimerization into [2,2?]bipyrazinyl derivatives, as evidenced by NMR and X-ray crystallography data. The pyrazinyl radicals can also be involved into the addition reaction on the C-C triple bond, thus demonstrating a new synthetic route to modify the structure of pyrazines. The structures of E- and Z-isomers of 1-(1?,2?-dihydropyrazinyl-2?)-2-iodoethenes have been proved by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and X-ray analysis

Аннотация: The N-[(3-amino-1,2-dicarba-closo-dodecaboran-1-yl)acetyl] derivatives of amino acids were prepared starting from N-protected (Ac, Form, Bz, and Boc) 3-amino-1-(carboxymethyl)-o-carboranes and alkyl esters of natural amino acids using the carbodiimide method of coupling and removing the ester groups. All the amides obtained were diastereoisomeric mixtures. Some diastereoisomers were separated and the assignment of the absolute configuration of aminocarborane fragments was performed by X-ray crystallography

Аннотация: Dinuclear complexes of CuII with 3-(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-6-(2-hydroxyethylami-no)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine (1) and CoII with 3-(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-6-(piperidin-1-yl)-1,2,4,5- tetrazine (2) were synthesized and structurally characterized, and the magnetic (SQUID) and resonance (EPR) properties of van der Waals crystals based on these complexes were studied. Unusual behavior of the effective magnetic moment ?eff(T) is observed at T 60 K. A nonmonotonic increase in eff() for 1 (s~6 %) and a 20% reduction of eff for 2 have a common origin and are due to the influence of spin-orbital coupling on the character of the splitting between the t2g and eg levels of the central ion. Distortions of the coordination site “switch on” a positive (1) or negative (2) contribution of the orbital magnetic moment near 6 K. Irreversible temperature behavior of eff(T) in the heating and cooling regimes in the vicinity of 60 K suggests that the character of structural distortions and the magnetic properties are related to ligand geometry. This factor plays a significant role in crystal engineering of magnetoactive structures with polynitrogen ligands

Аннотация: Dinuclear heterospin complexes of CuII and MnII 1,1,1,7,7,7-hexafluoroheptane-2,4,6-trionates ([Cu2L2] and [Mn2L2], respectively) with nitronyl nitroxides 2-R-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazole-3-oxide 1-oxyls (NIT-R, R = H, Me, Et, m-C5H4N, m-NCC6H4, p-NCC6H4, PzMe) and the diradical NIT-Pz-(CH2)4-Pz-NIT (Pz is 1,4-pyrazolylene) were synthesized and structurally characterized. In the complexes under study, the CuII atom tends to have the square-pyramidal coordination environment, and the MnII atom is in an octahedral environment. The magnetochemical investigation of the compounds in the temperature range of 2–300 K showed that the antiferromagnetic exchange coupling dominates in the [Cu2L2] molecules, whereas this coupling in [Mn2L2] is manifested in the experimental plot µeff(T) at T 100 K. The magnetic properties of the heterospin complexes of [Cu2L2] with NIT-R are also determined by the intramatrix antiferromagnetic exchange coupling. For the complexes of [Mn2L2] with NIT-R, the coordination mode of the nitroxide plays a decisive role.
