В статье рассматривается потенциал использования историко-культурного наследия территории в качестве основного элемента в построении локальной идентичности г. Челябинска. Статистика поисковых запросов в Яндекс жителей других регионов России, а также глубинное интервьюирование жителей города позволили определить сложившиеся представления о городе у внешней и внутренней аудитории. Авторы определили стереотипы, связанные с восприятием города. Отсутствие позитивной локальной идентичности влияет на лояльность жителей города к месту своего проживания, на невысокий уровень туристической привлекательности. Развитие локальных брендов, основывающееся на историко-культурной специфике локации, является значимым инструментом формирования локальной идентичности. Платформа бренд территории позволит сформировать локальную идентичность жителей территории и частично устранит стереотипы «промышленного, сурового» города, повысит привлекательность территории для внутреннего и въездного туризма. The article discusses the potential of using the historical and cultural heritage of the territory as the major element in creation of the local identity in the city of Chelyabinsk. Statistics of the search queries in Yandex of residents of other Russian regions, as well as. in-depth interviewing of the city residents, allowed one to determine the prevailing ideas about the city from the external and internal audiences. The authors identified the stereotypes associated with the perception of the city. The lack of the positive local identity affects the loyalty of the city residents to their place of habitation and the low level of the tourist attractiveness. Development of the local brands (based on the historical and cultural specifics of the location) is the significant tool for the local identity formation. The platform brand of the territory will allow one to form the local identity of the inhabitants of the territory, to eliminate partially the stereotypes of the “industrial, harsh” city, and to increase the attractiveness of the territory for domestic and inbound tourism.
