Аннотация

It has been shown that the electrodipole transitions on clusters of mixed valence 3d-ions can lead to an essential magnetooptical activity of crystals in the visible part of spectrum. The intensity of the corresponding transitions can be comparable or higher than for magnetooptical transitions in the same range of frequencies. The electrodipole mechanism of forming the magnetooptical effects appears in the sharply anisotropic character of spectrums under investigation.
