Co-Ni-minerals (CNM) are rare for the ores of VMSD and are rep¬resented by skutterudite (Saf yanovka), cobaltite (Yaman-Kasy, Letnee), millerite, linnaeite (Osennee), and pentlandite. There are a lot of CNM in massive sulfide deposits associated with ultramafites (Ishkinino, Ivanovka, Pyshminsko-Klyuchevskoye): pentlandite, cobaitpentlandite, minerals of linnaeite group, cobaltite, nickeline, gersdorffite, alloclasite, glaucodot, rammelsbergite, krutovite, safflorite, millerite, melonite. There is a general trend of Ni-enrichment of Со-minerals and visa versa for deposits associated with ultramafites and Fe- and sometimes Te-enrichments of Co¬minerals for those connected with basalts. CNM is extremely rare in modem hydrothermal sites majority of which finds belong to the fields associated with ultramafites (Rainbow and Logatchev). In general, modem CNM have the same geochemical features as their ancient analogues.
