Hydrothermal-sedimentary manganese deposits of the South Urals have proximal and distal sediments. The proximal type is characterized by the organic matter presence that leads to the reduction environment of mineral forming. Manganese rocks with rhodochrosite and Mn2f silicates are the result of this process. Distal sediments don’t nearly contain the biogenic carbohydrates that’s why during post-sedimentation processes the oxygen fiigacity didn’t sharply decrease and manganese kept its high oxidation degree concentrating in braunite. There are 61 ore mineral in composition of manganese ores not changed by supergene processes.
