The analytical system for the determination of the group-A streptococci (SGA) has been constructed. The designed diag-nosticum does not depend on hardware, i.e. it belongs to the group of so-called non-instrumental systems. The suggested pattern in realized based on the original conjugate (diagnostic reagent) that is synthesized on the basis of covalent binding of polyclonal antibodies against group-A streptococci with colloid carbon particles; this conjugate possesses the ability to bind specifically to appropriate ligand. Due to high absorbance of such conjugates in the visible light region it is possible to make direct visual determination of SGA in a sample under study. The reaction is manifested in a form of black dots on a solid phase working surface. The system could be arranged either in the form of direct determination or in a sandwich-test variant. Such analytical systems could be an efficient tool for dispensary, hospital, and pre-clinical testing including extreme clinical and epidemic situations, as well as these could be applied in different kits for home and field diagnostics.
