In the present work the procedure of alloy, carbon steel and cast iron sample preparation to ICP-AES determination of arsenic and antimony in them, providing to eliminate matrix interferences (in particular, iron, nickel, chromium) on the results of the analysis. The procedure was successfully tested on 11 certified reference materials of steel and cast iron.
