В научный оборот вводятся документы об уровне продовольственного обеспечения, его структуры и механизмах реализации, которые находились в зависимости от развития сельскохозяйственного производства, перерабатывающих отраслей, торговли. This edition contains around 500 units of documents and materials on the problems of the food safety policies and supplying the Urals’s population with foodstuffs since the late 19th up to the middle of the 1980 s. The documents and materials comprised throw light upon the specific devices and regulations used to meet the population’s vital needs in provisions, framework and rates of food supplies which were in turn all directly depending on the progress in agricultural production, food processing, and commerce. The Volume I of this edition displays the materials dated back from to the first three decades of the 20th century - the time span when, together with the transformations of societal order, great changes took place in the food safety policies, as well as in the food supplies of the population. The Volume D contains materials dated back from the period from the late 1920 s up to the middle of the 1980 s, when the strictly centralized system of agricultural production, food processing and food supply of population of the Urals’ Region was formed and exercised. Most of documents are first to be put into the scientific circulation. Each volume is equipped with the detailed analysis of historical sources and their archaeographic description; the list of sources and the index of geographical names are also supplemented. The present edition is destined to all who is interested m the 20th century history of Russia and the Urals.
