Данная программа направлена на успешную реализацию целей и задач национального проекта «Наука и университеты», соответствует целям и основным задачам «Стратегии научно-технологического развития России» и включает все приоритетные направления научно-технологического развития Российской Федерации. Программа предусматривает увеличение в составе государственного задания ФИЦ Коми НЦ УрО РАН доли проектов, ориентированных на реализацию положений «Стратегии развития Арктической зоны Российской Федерации», и их финансирования в общем объеме финансирования фундаментальных и прикладных исследований учреждения; реализацию научных исследований в рамках Научно-образовательного центра мирового уровня «Российская Арктика: новые материалы, технологии и методы исследования»; выполнение междисциплинарных проектов в интересах развития районов АЗРФ; осуществление инфраструктурных проектов, которые будут способствовать развитию науки и технологий в интересах освоения Арктики.
