В статье изучается степень влияния взаимоотношений России и Франции в начале XIX в. на политику императора Александра I и его приближенных по обеспечению внутренней безопасности Российской империи. Анализ историографической литературы и источников позволяет автору сделать вывод о зависимости между противостоянием двух стран и мерами российских властей по обеспечению внутренней безопасности государства. Первые военные столкновения с войсками Наполеона привели не только к обсуждению путей развития внешней политики России, но и к организации органов политического сыска для обеспечения ее внутренней безопасности и стабильности государственного устройства.
The article examines the degree of influence of relations between Russia and France at the beginning of the XIX century on the policy of Emperor Alexander I and his entourage to ensure the internal security of the Russian Empire. Analysis of historiographical literature and sources allows the writer to conclude that the relationship between the confrontation between two countries and measures of the Russian authorities to ensure the internal security of the state. The first military clashes with the troops of Napoleon led not only to discuss ways of developing Russia’s foreign policy, but, also, to organize political investigation bodies to ensure its internal security and stability of the state structure.
