Cu₁₀₀₋ₓZrₓ (x = 50, 54, 60, 66.6) polycrystalline alloys were prepared by arc-melting and q. The crystal structure of the ingots has been examined by X-ray diffraction. Non-equilibrium martensitic phases with monoclinic structure were detected in all the alloys except Cu33.4Zr66.6. Measured temperature and concentration dependencies of transport properties such as electrical and thermal conductivities reveal anomalous behavior probably caused by both the strong structural disorder and non-trivial specific interaction between alloy components. Such abnormal behavior is closely related with slowness of system relaxation processes which causes high glass-forming ability of the system.
