Аннотация

The steady-state operation of Loop Heat Pipes (LHP) is known to be ample. Much less is known about their transient and start-up behavior, the influence of the dynamic factors especially due to gravity. The present paper examines the experimental data, which is investigated for LHP due to gravity. The experiment effort was supplemented by extensive hardware development efforts, analytical modeling development and ground test verification.
