Автор считает синонимом термина «ландшафт» географическое понятие «картины Природы», как эстетически ценные виды местности и объективно существующие природные образования, составляющие главную ценность среды обитания человека. Современная география с помощью фотографии позволяет дать достоверное не только эстетическое, но и научно-познавательное представление о местностях, на лоне которых разворачиваются все виды деятельности человека. Оренбургская область, как своеобразный природно-исторический перекресток всей Евразии, является уникальным регионом для познания и созерцания ландшафтного и биологического разнообразия степной и, лесостепной зон России. The illustrated atlas-monograph is devoted to the typical, characteristic and rare landscape of the Orenburg region. The author considers the geographical concept of «Scenes of nature» to be synonymous with the term «landscape» as aesthetically valuable types of terrain and objectively existing natural formations that constitute the main value of the human habitat. Modern geography with the help of photography allows us to give a reliable not only aesthetic, but also scientific and cognitive idea of the areas in the bosom of which all kinds of human activities unfold. The Orenburg region, as a kind of natural and historical crossroads of Eurasia, is a unique region for learning and contemplating the landscape and biological diversity of the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Russia.
