The article demonstrates the results of elaboration of a methodical approach to assessment of power-investment attractiveness of the territories from the point of view of ensuring their economic and power security. It also shows the structure of specific tasks of power-investment attractiveness and considers the assessment of power-investment attractiveness of coal supplies to the territory more closely. The results of the assessment of power-investment attractiveness of supplies of definite type of coal on the territories of the 17 chosen regions of Russia are given.
